The USDA, ARS, Plant Genetics Research Unit (PGRU) in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Research Entomologist. The scientist utilizes entomology, chemical ecology, resistance management, and/or insect behavior in advancing knowledge of the basic biology of major pests of corn. The scientist leads in identifying new areas of research and developing novel and unique approaches to enhance research efforts in an unusually broad area of entomology. This may include research or collaborative work in genomics, molecular biology, metabolomics, microbiomes, and corn insect nutrition.
