The Poultry Science Laboratory-LAVINESP of the Department of Animal Science of the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences, UNESP campus Jaboticabal – SP offers a position for postdoctoral research with a FAPESP scholarship.

The selected person will work on developing the thematic project "Net energy system for poultry" (Fapesp Process 2019/26575-6). The activities to be carried out include: - Develop the project "Evaluation of energy systems (metabolizable vs. net) on the economic response and performance of broilers and laying hens", related to the thematic project. Must have active participation in the development of new methodologies that will be implemented during the project; - Develop activities related to the thematic project, supporting undergraduate and graduate students in the development of thesis and dissertations, contributing to the development and proper progress of the studies carried out, as well as the writing of reports and scientific papers.

The candidates must have completed their Ph.D. in less than 7 (seven) years in Animal Science, not have an employment relationship, and have an exclusive dedication to the research project development. Also, it should have experience in research related to indirect calorimetry, energy metabolism, and poultry nutrition, with advanced knowledge of the English language for writing, reading, and conversation, or have carried out an internship abroad in an English-speaking country.
