Assistant or Associate Professor of Poultry Parasitology and Intestinal Health
The successful candidate will develop a nationally competitive, sustainable, and collaborative research program in poultry parasitology and intestinal health that meets the critical research needs of the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station and its stakeholders in the commercial poultry and allied industries. Areas of specialization could include basic and applied research on the risk factors, epidemiology, pathogenesis, prevention, and control of avian coccidiosis, necrotic enteritis, histomoniasis, and other enteric diseases of poultry. The successful candidate will be expected to recruit and supervise graduate students pursuing degrees in Poultry Science, direct undergraduate research, and secure extramural funding from federal, state, commodity, and industry sources.
